CANCELLED: Due to the winter storm, all schools are closed which means my community forum tonight has to be cancelled as we no longer have a venue. Thank you to all who planned on attending. For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my community office.
In recent weeks Doug Ford and his government have put the future of our environment and our public services in jeopardy.
Though Ford has promised to remove provisions from Bill 66 that would have punched holes in the Greenbelt and put our drinking water at risk (thanks to the hard work of grassroots organizations, environmental activists, farmers, and people like you), there are still elements of the bill that threaten our health and safety.
As well, the Ford government has plans to make changes to our education system with regards to class size caps and full day kindergarten, and to our public healthcare system.
Join MPP Bhutila Karpoche and special guests to unpack what is in Bill 66 and to learn from successful grassroots campaigns so that we can take action together to defend our environment and our public services.
Speakers include:
- Peter Tabuns, MPP Toronto—Danforth
- Tim Gray, Environmental Defence
- Nil Sendil, $15 $ Fairness Campaign
- and more to be announced!
Bring your questions, concerns, and ideas for defending the health and safety of Ontarians and our environment.
