Cuts to education will mean, larger class sizes, fewer resources, less individual attention, students being forced to take online courses, cancellation of arts, trades and technology classes and as the Toronto Star reported, 3,475 teachers being fired.
These changes will be disastrous for our students and for our education system. I will be hosting a town hall on education to explain the upcoming changes, how these cuts will impact our students here in Parkdale–High Park, and how we can organize around them. Please join us.
